My stay at Hotel Lindrum was quite a mixed experience. The location is excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome. However, some aspects like the breakfast and room inconsistency left much to be desired.

Rooms
7.0
I found the rooms comfortable enough, but they definitely varied. For example, room 306 felt more pleasant than 304, despite being in the same price range. Some furnishings seemed a bit outdated, which took away from the overall charm.
Service
9.0
The staff were truly fantastic and nothing seemed too much for them. Their friendliness really stood out during my stay, though I did encounter a couple of miscommunications.
Location

The location is fantastic, just off Flinders Street but away from the busiest parts. It's within walking distance to the River Yarra and various bars and restaurants, which made exploring Melbourne easy.
Dining

I found the breakfast to be quite average. The hot dishes weren't great and the toast was tough. It could really use some fresh fruit and a wider variety of options.
Facilities

Room service was available and accommodating, though the overall facilities were not extensive. The public areas had a wonderful character, especially by the fireplace.

7.2/10

My stay at Hotel Lindrum Melbourne was mostly good, with attentive staff and a great location that made my visit special. though there were a few minor issues. The decor and amenities really stood out, and I enjoyed a restful sleep. Still, there were hiccups with breakfast service and a mix-up regarding mini-bar charges that dampened my experience slightly.

Rooms

The room was beautifully appointed and offered a very quiet space for relaxation. I did notice some noise in the early morning from dustbins, which was surprising for such a lovely suite.
Service

The staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out a breezy experience. though there was a slight delay with my breakfast service, I appreciated their willingness to assist.
Location

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the main shopping area and close to great dining options. it felt peaceful despite being central.
Dining

While the breakfast options were enticing, I found some of the execution lacking. the presentation could have been better, and my gluten-free request was handled poorly on one occasion.

The hotel featured high-quality amenities and a lovely atmosphere. I really enjoyed the turn-down service and the luxurious touch of fine toiletries.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Lindrum, enjoying its attractive decor and friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect for my needs. However, the room I stayed in faced a concrete wall, which was disappointing, and I expected a bit more from the experience given the price. Overall, it was a solid choice for my time in Melbourne. 😊

7.4/10

I had a great stay at Hotel Lindrum, but it wasn't without its hiccups. The hotel has a charming atmosphere and is in a fantastic location—close to everything without being in the thick of it. The room I initially got didn't have much of a view, but the staff was super helpful in switching me to a city view room. However, the check-in and breakfast mix-ups were a bit frustrating. Overall, I think I'd return, but with some reservations about communication.

Rooms
8.0
I started in a room facing a car park which was not ideal, but the room itself was stylish and comfortable. After switching to a city view room, I was much happier. The high ceilings and timber floorboards gave it a unique vibe.
Service
7.0
The staff at check-in were friendly and managed to rearrange my room situation, but the breakfast billing issue was annoying. It felt like a bit of a mix-up at times, but overall, they were professional and attentive.
Location

The location was spot on! Right on Flinders Street but away from the hustle, with tram stops nearby. I loved how easily I could walk to Federation Square and the Yarra River.
Dining

Breakfast was decent with a good selection, but my $1 deal created quite a bit of confusion during my stay. The restaurant had a nice vibe, and I enjoyed the fresh pastries.
Facilities

The facilities were nice, offering a cozy bar and room service, which I liked. The complimentary sunscreen and infused water at reception were a nice touch.

I really loved my stay at Hotel Lindrum Melbourne - MGallery. The unique boutique feel greeted me from the moment I encountered the heavy front door (which I struggled to open, but found it charming). The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, though the room was a bit small and faced a parking lot, which was slightly disappointing. Overall, my experience was wonderful, and the location was just ideal.

Rooms

The room was spacious but a little weathered and looked into the neighbor's car park. It comfortably accommodated an extra bed for my child, which was great.
Service
10.0
The staff truly made my stay special; they were friendly and seemed intuitive to my needs. From help with my suitcase to providing an umbrella, it felt like being welcomed by family.
Location

Situated on Flinders Street, I loved how I could easily walk to most attractions in the CBD area. Plus, there was a free tram right outside (so convenient!).
Dining

I found the room service to be very good, with prompt delivery and tasty options. However, breakfast was a bit of a letdown, as my toast was cold and tough (and only a tiny bit of butter!).
Facilities

Room service was excellent, and I had access to a lovely bar downstairs with a great selection of drinks. The gym was only a short walk away at the Sofitel, which worked out nicely.
